Abbé Franz Stock - Biography of Life

Franz Stock (21 September 1904, Neheim – 24 February 1948, Paris) was a German Roman Catholic priest. He is known for ministering to prisoners in France during World War II, and to German prisoners of war in the years following.

Le 4 mai dernier, un groupe d'étudiants en théologie du diocèse allemand de Mayence a visité le Séminaire des Barbelés.

Ils ont ensuite découvert l'église St Jean-Baptiste, où ils ont prié devant la tombe de Franz Stock.

De 1946 à 1947, les diocèses de Mayence et de Fribourg-en-Brisgau ont activement soutenu le Séminaire des Barbelés.
